Floatation Therapy with Epsom Salts has the ability to help you relieve muscle and joint pain, speed injury recovery, de-stress, soothe anxiety, achieve deeper sleep, and fight fatigue all while helping your mind to relax, visualize, & create.
Floatation Therapy uses float tanks, aka sensory deprivation tanks, and it’s amazing! You will float effortlessly and weightlessly in warm water with over 650 lbs of Epsom Salt. What’s unique about floating, is that it gives each of us what we need using the same three factors – reduced gravity, sensory deprivation and Epsom salt. It may sound a little strange but we’re confident that once you float, you’ll see that it’s unlike anything else in the world.

Scientists estimate that up to 90% of the brain’s normal workload is caused by the effects of processing routine external stimulation. Simply put it takes a lot of energy for our bodies to fight gravity, and operate our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems which are responsible for the fight-or-flight response and the relaxation response. Modern research has thoroughly documented how chronic activation of the sympathetic nervous system by routine daily stressors is the hallmark of the modern stress epidemic.
Floating screens out these external physical stimuli, creating a pure state of “sensory” relaxation. Under these unique conditions, your body has a chance to restore its natural powers of self-regulation, while you simply lie back and rediscover the pleasure of a deeply relaxed mind.

If you normally drink coffee (or black teas, green teas, energy drinks, etc.) you will want to skip them before your float. Stimulants may interfere with your ability to relax.

At West Coast Float we have TWO types of float options to meet all your floating needs:
The Tranquility Float Pod, and the Float Cabin for 1 or 2.
Both of our float options at West Coast Float are spacious, comfortable, and the experience is practically identical.
Choosing your float pool option is simply a matter of personal preference.
We will guide you to your individual room, show you how it works, and leave you to privately float, breathe, and control your experience.
We have two Tranquility Pods. Tranquility Pod 1 and 2 are identical, and are the closest option to the traditional style of float tank, but with a sleek modern design.
If you want your own cozy private cocoon for floating, choose the Tranquility Pod 1 or 2.
All aspects of the Tranquility Pod are under your control as you have the ability to adjust the lights, airflow, and position of the rounded lid. Each Tranquility Pod is in its own private room with shower, bench, towel, robe, headrest, and ear plugs. It is the perfect option for individual escape, relaxation, and freedom of self-expression.
We have one Float Cabin, which is in its own private room, with shower, bench, towel, robe, headrest, and ear plugs.
It is fully enclosed, like a float pod, but is much larger (like a room within a room). The Float Cabin is 7 feet tall, 7 feet long and extra wide, providing a feeling of height and space.
The Cabin can be used by one person, who can privately utilize the space to stretch out, or by two people, who want to share the space to be physically connected or assisted within the experience. Perfect for pregnant couples, the physically and mobility impaired, BFF’s, or partners.
“People often ask us if it is better to float together or separately. This is an interesting question because there is technically no wrong answer. Scientifically speaking, it is better to float alone in the interest of sensory deprivation, but individually speaking, it may be more emotionally and personally comfortable to float together. You won’t know until you try!”

In our spare time we are co-owners of a Diner with locations on the coast and in the desert.
Our mission with West Coast Float is to get people floating. We believe in gifting, community and paying it forward and ART – lots of art! By providing a space for you to float and Be, we know you will feel healthy & peaceful and that will result in a compassionate influence on the world around you.
